Cecilians visit IIT Delhi Open House 2016
On 23rd April 2016. Class XII Science stream students visited the IIT Delhi Open House 2016 event along with Science faculty PGT Physics Mr. R. K. Mishra and PGT Chemistry Ms. Meenakshi. Indian Indian Institute of Technology(IIT-Delhi) for the twelfth consecutive year exhibited an extensive collection of innovative research and product development projects as its Annual Open House 2016. The students attended the one day event that provided them an insight into path breaking research work, student projects and advancements in technology.
The students also visited the Physics lab in the IIT campus where in they observed Holography using interference of light in a dark room. They also visited the mechanical engineering lab where IIT students were preparing an electric racing car model. This year too the Open House promised to be a real treat to the eyes of students and visitors as technology enthusiasts presented the finest of projects.
It was a matter of great priviledge for the students as they got the opportunity to observe and interact with IIT in house students and recknowned professors. The students had an enriching day and felt empowered with new ideas that boosted their scientific temperament.
On returning to school campus, the students expressed gratitude to Madam Principal for providing the students this once in a lifetime opportunity.
