St. Cecilia’s Public School

St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri organized an educational cum adventure excursion for one day for students of classes IV to XII to Delhi Eco village Adventure(DEVA) farms near G. T. Karnal Bypas, Narela on three separate days. More than 1000 students visited the farms. Class IV and V visited the farms on 28 December 2015, Classes VI to VIII on 23rd December 2015 and classes IX to XII on 29th December 2015. The students were accompanied by the co-ordinators, teachers as well as staff members. This delightful trip in the lap of nature enriched the Lives of our young ones.
DEVA farms offered a series of village, sports and recreational activities. A warm welcome awaited the children followed by a finger licking breakfast after which they were taken for plethora of Adventure Activities like Burma bridge, Zip wire, River crossing, Rappelling, Commando net, Rope ladder, Tunnel crossing, Balance beam, Spider web and Zorbing, After a hearty lunch, children had an overview of creative and domestic village activities such as a walk through nature, potter’s wheel, camel ride, tractor ride, chaupal chakki and village cooking. Apart from all this, the live DJ session kept out young audience entertained and energized throughout the day. A magic show and puppet show was also organized for students.
The students boarded their buses after the yummy evening snacks. It was indeed a day to remember as 2015 saw its close with the happy gleeful cheers of the students due to the fun filled excursion.
