Annual Science Exhibition  2017

Scientia club of St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri organized the Annual science exhibition for middle, senior and primary wings on 22.08.2017, 23.08.2017 and 1.9.17 respectively.

The students displayed their creative scientific potential in diverse arenas revolving around the themes of contemporary significance, namely,  Transport & Communication, Sources of Energy and their conservation , Mathematical Modeling, Disaster Management and Waste Management,  Agriculture & Food Security, Robotics and engineering sciences. Students suggested solutions to grave problems faced by humanity through models like automated red light control system.

The event ignited the scientific curiosity in children & gave them a platform to give dimensions to their ideas. Students explained the relevance and application of their projects in their interaction with the Principal madam, Director Sir, Vice Principal, co-ordinators and judges. Principal madam and Vice Principal madam  encouraged them to apply their knowledge to help others. Based on feedback and suggestive ideas of science teachers, the children gained a new perspective of further development of their model. They also learnt to present their ideas and concepts which enhanced their confidence, communication and interpersonal skills.

On the whole, the science exhibition was a great learning experience for both students and teachers alike wherein it seemed that the world of science practically came alive through our young innovators.
