Workshop on Memory Retention
St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri on 22nd April 2015 organized an interactive workshop for Class XII Science and Commerce Students. The spokesperson Mohammad Faizal, thrice Guinness World Record holder and a known media face of Zee Salaam Channel conducted an inspiring and informative one hour session of memory retention. He briefed the students regarding various learning methods that enhance the retention power of the brain. The spokesperson conducted participative activity based interactive tricks that empower the recapitulation and recalling of information stored in the brain. The students also shared their concerns regarding improving their memory skills. Various techniques such a law of association, law of imagination, law of linking words, colour association, etc. were also taken up during the session. Vocabulary building with the help of visual was also effectively taken up in the workshop. The workshop was attended by more than 150 students. They enthralled and empowered with useful learning methods for memory retention.
