Workshop on Memory Retention

A workshop on memory retention was conducted by Mr. Mohd. Faizal – a three times Guinness book record holder for the strongest memory / the best memory man. He elaborated on the fact that we can memorize things faster and retain it for a longer time if we associate it or link it with our feelings, emotions or films or any other audio visuals. Anything good / bad or outstanding is always remembered. He also stressed on the power of imagination that can do wonders citing the example of Dhirubhai Ambani and others. Memory can be enhanced through large, colourful images and story narration. It is very important to have faith, conviction and belief in ourselves to achieve our goals. One of the best ways to increase vocabulary is by SMS- Self Minic System for eg. Bacchanalia – associate with a familiar word Bacchan – meaning a drunken person. Overall an interesting and informative Workshop.
