KAMP – National Assessment for Scientific Temperament and Aptitude(NASTA) – 2019

Excellence is achieved and pride as Harkirat Kaur of Class IX 2019-2020 is the DISTRICT TOPPER for her participation in the national assessment which was held on 27th and 28th January 2020 in the school premises. She will be honored with MEDAL OF EXCELLENCE and certificate.

Madam Principal Mrs Inderpreet Bhumra appreciated and congratulated Harkirat Kaur for her praiseworthy achievement. Madam Principal also applauded the exemplary performance of the students who participated in the competition.

Perfect Grade A was scored by Harkirat in Scientific Skills in the subheads: Observations and Precision, Imagination, Creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Prediction and Interpretation, Communication and Collaboration, Social Skills and Empathy.

A total 46 students participated in the event and each was assessed on academic as well as scientific level. The assessment consisted of two papers-PaperI that comprised of 30 questions each from Science and EVS/ Humanities. Paper II consisted of 30 questions from Mathematics and 25 questions from Computer/IT and 5 questions from Aptitude and Reasoning skills.

The assessment provided a comprehensive look at wide array of academic areas that are a part of student holistic education.
