A competition on the Topic 'Save Water'

  

  

Our school had organized a competition on the topic ‘Save Water’. It was organized on 22nd November 2019. The aim of the competition was to encourage the students to project their creative skills and enhance their creativity. But the major focus was to sensitize the pupils towards the decreasing water levels.
The competition was organized for class VI-VIII. There were three topics, namely :-
 Conservation of water
 Depletion of water table
 Life without drinking water
The students had the liberty to choose any one topic. Class VI had to make a poster on any one of the topics. Class VII had participated in Slogan Writing Competition. Slogans on ‘Save Water’ or ‘Judicious use of water’ were written by the pupils. Class VIII participated in ‘Essay writing competition’. Al the students who participated in the competition performed really well. Their hard work and efforts to win the competition was evident.
The Bulletin Boards were also decorated. The theme was ‘Save Water’. The students adorned the board with their unique ideas and creativity. A pledge was also taken by the pupils on 27th November 2019, in the assembly. The pledge was on ‘Save Water’. The students took a pledge to stop the wastage/ overuse of water, as water is becoming scarce due to its overuse. They promised that they would use water judiciously, and save it for the future generations.
