Vigilance Awareness Week 2018

Joining hands to construct corruption free India

St. Cecilia’s Public School in a noble endeavour to celebrate 150 years of the Mahatma – Father of our nation, organised various activities to mark Vigilance Awareness Week 2018 from 29th October to 3rd November 2018.

The school encouraged students to eradicate corruption and build a new India. The students were addressed by Madam Principlal Mrs. Inderpreet Bhumra to pledge and promote integrity and eradicate corruption.

Various activities were organised for students of class IX-XII to emphasise that anti corruption starts with the students – the citizens of tomorrow. Class IX drew informative expressive cartoon representation that brought alive the common man’s concerns regarding corruption. Class X and XI students whole heartedly participated in essay writing and poster making event as they highlighted the need to be the whistle blowers to combat the crime of corruption.

The students comprehended the need to kill the demon of corruption. The week long activities were fruitful and value based as the students were made aware and sensitized regarding the need of a corruption free country.

Madam Principal appreciated the sincere participation and zeal of all staff members and students as all pledged that ‘Together we can build a new India.’
