Workshop on Career competency
St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri organized a workshop on career competency on 24th July 2015 for class XII students. Separate sessions for Science group and Commerce group students were conducted on the topic of career competency. Resource person Mr. Jatin Chawla conducted two separate lively interactive sessions for the students. He briefed them on various possibilities and career opportunities available for the students of both Science and Commerce stream aspirants. From 10:00 am to 11:30am Science group and from 12:00noon to 1:30pm Commerce group students attended specialized sessions on career competency. Diversification and interest of students were emphasized as key factors to select their career choices. The students were encouraged to take up unconventional and talent based careers. Social careers, creative careers, hotel management, research work, defence services as well as conventional careers of various fields were made aware to the students. The students benefitted immensely from the workshop.
