Kargil Vijay Diwas 2019

“Aao desh a sammaan kare Shahido ki shahadat yaad kre, Jo kurban ho Gaye mere desh par Unhe sar jhuka Kar salaam kare”

On the auspicious occasion of 20^th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, St. Cecilia’s Public School, organized a special assembly on 30^th July, 2019 where in students recited inspiring poems and a Yoga dance was presented on the theme of Kargil song a tribute to Indian soldiers. An inter-class Essay writing competition was organized in classes VI-VIII the topic was 20 years of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The students participated enthusiastically. In Class X an inter class painting competition was organized for the students who used their imagination to pay their tribute and homage to Indian Army. It was a learning experience as students learnt to value the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers.
