Cecilians Present Mock Parliament 2015
Classes IX-XI of St. Cecilia’s Public School conducted a session of Mock Parliament on 21st November 2015 in the school campus. The session commenced with the General Introduction to proceedings of the Parliament. The students witnessed Zero Hour, Question Hour and a one hour session of the Parliament enacted by the participants dressed up as ministers. The Parliament session presented the proceedings as an ideal Parliament.
Students also represented opposition party and ruling party. ‘Uniform civil code’ introduced by the house was also welcomed by the opposition. Finally the speaker ended the Parliament with the note to apprise the bill. The students also participated in a quiz on Indian Parliament conducted for the audience of the Mock Parliament. All teachers and students applauded the combined efforts. Madam Principal Mrs. R. Bhumra appreciated the presentation. She motivated the students to become aware citizens and wise decision makers.
