St. Cecilia's Public School

Orientation Programme for Parents

During the month of April 2015, St. Cecilia’s Public School organized a series of orientation programmes for the benefit of parents and students of Pre-Primary, Class I, VI and IX.  The purpose of this programme was to apprise the parent community about the holistic education imparted in the school and the importance of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation practises that would be strictly followed in the school as per the directives of CBSE.  This orientation was also meant to be a platform for the whole parent community to come together and share the experiences as well as put forth suggestions for the forthcoming session.

The Orientations were closely supervised by Respected Madam Principal  Mrs. R. Bhumra and Vice Principal.  With the help of power point presentation on what CBSE meant by CCE, the details on all the areas where a student would be assessed were provided.  The importance of remedial teaching and its role in CCE was brought forth.  The parents were informed about the system of appreciating and rewarding the child.  The rules of discipline were mentioned by the speakers.

The orientation programme on all days ended with an interactive counseling session wherein the queries of the parents were satisfied.
