Cecilian Prisha Tyagi Shines in Dubai, UAE
St. Cecilia’s Public School rejoiced in glee and wished kudos to Cecilian Prisha Tyagi of Class III for her international victory at Dubai as she received her international Silver medal. The young skipper represented the school at World Inter-school Rope-skipping Championships – 2015 organized by International Jump Rope Promotional Council (IJRPC) at Dubai, UAE.
She won two silver medals at the international level in the 16th national Rope Skipping Championship 2015 at Dubai. 15 countries from across the world participated in the championship. Prisha made India proud by defeating UAE, USA, Spain, Japan, Poland and many other participating countries.
The sports aspirant Prisha also received a Scholarship of Rs. 50,000/- from the School Management as she proved her prowess at the international event.
At the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony 2015, the parents of Prisha Tyagi along with Prisha were specially honoured by the School Management. Madam Seema Punia, world renowned athlete and 2016 Rio Olympics representative from India awarded the Special Award to Prisha. It was a matter of great pride for the young prodigy.
