II Position in Quiz Competition at District Level-Organized by District Disaster Management Authority, South West
Class XI students Karan Sharma and Lavanya Bahl of St. Cecilia’s Public School won the II position in Quiz competition defeating 127 participating teams. The competition was organised by District Disaster Management Authority, South West on the theme “Beti Bachao, Beto Padhao” and save the girl child.
The National Girl Child day and the awareness of the BBBP scheme were the highlights of the event. Cecilian students qualified for the second round as one of the 8 teams out of 127 teams to win the II position. Cash prize of Rs. 2500/- each was awarded to both the students at the Prize Distribution Ceremony held at Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, Dwarka where they were accompanied by teacher Incharge.
Karan and Lavanya were appreciated for their zealous achievement by Madam Principal Mrs. Inderpreet Bhumra infront of all the students. Madam encouraged all students to be inspired to achieve commendable laurels.
