Walk for life-stride against cancer
Someone has rightly said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give because there is no higher religion than human service. To work for the common good is the greatest creed”.
Rotary club has taken an initiative to organize a “walk for life – stride against cancer on Sunday, 31st January 16.
Objective of the walk are:-
►To create awareness about cancer
►Raise funds for the care of people with cancer
►Honour those battling cancer
The event will be flagged off by Mrs. Sangeeta Jaitley (wife of our finance minister)
The walk will begin with a lap of Honour for cancer survivors lead by famous bollywood actress Ms. Manisha Koirala.
Venue:- Jawahar Lal Nehru(JLN) Stadium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
Nearest metro station-Jangpura(Gate No-3) & JLN Gate No-3 Voilet line.
Walk Timings:- 8:30am -11:30am
